An impressive array of our member’s jigs were available for viewing and discussion at the April meeting. They ranged from simple to complex, but they all had the same benefit: they made doing special or repetitive tasks easier, more accurate and safer.

The 2012 edition of Jig Night had a smaller turnout than usual but it still had a fine array of jigs that members showed the group. Overall it was a good mix of ingenuous ways to make the hobby easier, faster, safer or better.

Our Jig Night was moved to July to accommodate other meeting presenters. Again, we had a great array of jigs or “gizmos” presented. Whether they were designed and built by our woodworkers or purchased from a company, they still provided each attendee with great knowledge of how to do something easier, more safely, and better.
