General meetings of the Sawdust & Woodchips Woodworking Association are held at the Canton Woods Senior Center, 76 Canton Street in Baldwinsville, NY 13027. Meetings generally start at 6:30pm and end by about 9pm. The club pays to use the Center after previously providing various in-kind services like repairing tables and chairs, building storage units, and donating a screen and DVD player. Parking is available in the lot adjacent to the Center and as needed on Canton Street.

Traveling to Canton Woods
From Syracuse & the Suburbs:
Take 690 West towards the Thruway. At the Thruway, 690 West becomes 690 North.
** Go two exits north past the Thruway exit to the exit Route 31 – Baldwinsville & Jordan. This exit drops you onto Downer Street. Turn right onto Downer Street. Travel about one mile east on Downer Street to Canton Street. [There is a sign for Canton Woods & the Museum at the corner.] Make a right onto Canton Street. Travel about ¼ of a mile. Canton Woods Senior Center will be on the right just past a stand of trees.
From North Country: You have a choice. Sometimes it is easier to take Route 81 South to the Thruway and go west to Exit 39. After coming out of the tollbooth, take access ramp across bridge and onto 690 North. Follow instructions from ** above.
Otherwise, you may travel across Route 31 West into Baldwinsville. At the main corner in downtown Baldwinsville where Rt 31 intersects with Route 48, make a left. Travel over the Seneca River and Canal bridges. At the second light, make a right. This will place you on Downer Street (also known as Rt 31 West). About ¼ a mile west at the first cross street, make a left onto Canton Street. Travel about ¼ of a mile. Canton Woods Senior Center will be on the right just past a stand of trees.
From Points East & West where the Thruway is best travel mode:
Take the Thruway east or west and exit at Exit 39. After coming out of the tollbooth, take access ramp across bridge and onto 690 North. Follow instructions from ** above.
